Our Wedding

Our story began on March 8, 2020, when two high school students took a chance on young love.At the time, Brittney was a 14-year-old freshman and Ashton was a 17-year-old junior. What started as a simple high school relationship quickly became something much more. Through basketball games, school events, late-night conversations, and all the milestones that come with growing up, we built a friendship and relationship that only became stronger with time.Over the years, we have experienced some of life's biggest moments together. We've watched each other graduate, become dog parents to Axel &amp; Bo, pursue our careers, celebrate accomplishments, and dream about the future we wanted to build. Through every season, we have learned that the best part of any journey is having someone by your side to share it with.One of the most defining moments of our relationship came in July 2025 when Brittney experienced the heartbreaking loss of her brother, Cole. During one of the most difficult times in her life, Ashton never left her side. Through the grief, heartbreak, and uncertainty, he provided unwavering love, strength, and support. That season taught us that true love is not only found in life's happiest moments, but also in standing together through the hardest ones. While Brittney's brother will always be deeply missed, his memory remains an important part of our story and a reminder of the strength we found in one another.Just one month later, on August 8, 2025, Ashton asked Brittney to marry him. After more than five years together, the answer was the easiest "yes" either of us could imagine.Now, we're counting down the days until April 10, 2027, when we'll stand surrounded by our family and friends and begin our next chapter as husband and wife.What began as a relationship between a freshman and a junior has grown into a partnership built on love, trust, friendship, resilience, and countless memories. We are incredibly grateful for every moment—both the joyful and the challenging—that brought us to this point.And the best part of our story is that it's only just beginning.
